We are delighted to share the news that Sara Allerton's debut novel, Making Shore, has won the People's Book Prize for fiction 2011! Sara was presented with the award by no less a giant among novelists than Frederick Forsyth. A great honour, and well deserved! The former merchant seaman whose story inspired the book, Brian Clarke, is also over the moon at the result. Thanks to all Sara's fans who voted to make this the most popular novel of the year.
