Celebrating the approach to midsummer with an environmental, outdoor-focused theme, Books From Scotland's site is featuring Handbook of Scotland's Trees as its Book of the Month for June. The book, which was developed by the environmental and sustainability charity Reforesting Scotland, has just been published and is already garnering praise.

Books From Scotland's feature includes a sample of the illustrations in the book and a description, along with a full table of contents.

For a fuller preview, take a look inside the book by clicking on the interactive cover here (but not the thumbnail version at the top of the page!)

"Whether you want to re-establish a woodland or simply plant a tree in your garden, this book inspires. It is a delight" says Roddy Fairley, Scottish Natural Heritage
