| We're delighted that Making Shore, Sara Allerton's gripping debut novel, has won the summer season for the 2010/2011 People's Book Prize and will go forward to the year's finals in 2011. Making Shore got off to a brisk start as the voting opened, and by the closing date on 31st August, it was more than 100 votes ahead of its nearest rival, with a total of 223 votes. |
